How to Import Your Wallet into Xverse

If you have an existing Bitcoin wallet with providers like Magic Eden, OKX, Phantom, or Unisat and want to import it into Xverse, the process is now easier than ever. Simply select your wallet provider, enter your seed phrase, and Xverse will automatically detect your wallet’s derivation path, scan for your addresses, and display your balance—no manual setup required.

Download and Install Xverse Wallet

Step 1: Restore an Existing Wallet

  • Launch the Xverse Wallet ( mobile app or browser extension).

For Unisat & OKX Taproot Address Users

If your Bitcoin is stored only in a Taproot address (starting with bc1p) in Unisat or OKX, you won’t see the balance immediately upon restoration.

Where to Find Your Funds?

  • After restoring your wallet, go to BTC > Breakdown in the Xverse dashboard.
  • Your funds will be displayed under your Ordinals address in Xverse.

Info

Taproot addresses in Xverse are designed for storing Ordinals assets (inscriptions, BRC-20, Runes) and not for general Bitcoin transactions or fee coverage. To make your BTC spendable, transfer it to your Native Segwit address (bc1q).

You can do it directly by sending from your Unisat/OKX wallet to your Xverse Native Segwit address, or by following this guide: How to Recover BTC from Your Ordinals Address (Taproot) in Xverse?

For Leather Wallet Users
