How to Restore an Existing Wallet in Xverse?

If you need to recover your existing Xverse wallet on a new device or restore your wallet using the seed phrase for any reason, follow the steps below to securely access your wallet.

Step 1: Download and install Xverse

If you haven’t already, download the Xverse Wallet from the our official website: https://www.xverse.app/download

Step 2: Launch the App

Select “Recover an Existing Wallet”, then read and accept the Terms of Services & Privacy Policy.

Step 3: Enter Your Seed Phrase

Carefully input your backup 12 -word seed phrase generated by Xverse wallet, ensuring each word is correct and in correct order.

Step 4: Create a New Password

Set a strong, memorable password for your wallet. After confirming your password, you’ll have access to your restored wallet and all your assets.

***For Mobile user:

Enter your 12-word seed phrase in one row with a space between each word. You can choose between Biometric/PIN or Password for your security mode.

Important Notes:

  • Double-check each word of your seed phrase for accuracy. If you are still logged in to your wallet on another device, you can verify the seed phrase via Settings (⚙️) > Security > Backup Wallet.
  • Never share your seed phrase with anyone, including support team. It’s the key to accessing your wallet and funds.
  • Choose a strong and unique password to protect your wallet. If you set up your Biometric security with FaceID or fingerprint on mobile device, remember your PIN. Without the PIN, you won’t be able to access your 12-word seed phrase for backup purposes.
