Forgot Your Xverse Login Password or PIN? Here’s What to Do

Many users occasionally forget their wallet login password or PIN, especially if they rely on biometric authentication like Face ID or fingerprint scanning. To avoid this issue, we recommend storing your password or PIN securely in a password manager or a trusted physical location.

However, if you find yourself locked out and unable to remember your credentials, you can always restore access to your wallet using your seed phrase. Make sure you have your seed phrase backed up, as it’s the only way to regain access to your wallet in such situations.

Retry Your Password/PIN

Depending on which device you’re using, you will have a attempts to enter your password or PIN correctly before needing to take further action. Make sure to double-check for any typos.

Restore Your Wallet

For Extension (Chrome) Users

  • On the login screen, click “Forgot your password?”.
  • This will take you to the wallet restore process using your seed phrase.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your seed phrase and regain access to your wallet.

For Mobile App Users

  • The “Forgot Password” feature is not available on mobile. If you’re locked out, you’ll need to delete the app and reinstall it.
  • Before deleting the app, make sure to back up your seed phrase as it will be required to restore the wallet after reinstalling.
  • Go to https://www.xverse.app/download to re-install the app and then select “Restore existing wallet”.

If you don’t have access to your seed phrase, you will not be able to recover your wallet. The seed phrase is the key to your wallet. Make sure to store your seed phrase securely and remember your password/PIN to avoid future lockouts!
