How to Unstake WBTC in Xverse

When you stake WBTC through Xverse Earn, getting your Bitcoin back isn't instant — there's a lock-up period, and rewards are claimed separately. This guide explains how unstaking works, how to claim, and how to withdraw manually through Endur if you need a fallback.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • An activated Starknet account in Xverse.
  • A small amount of STRK to cover network fees (and to receive native staking rewards).
  • The latest version of Xverse.

Tip: The 7-day lock-up applies to all withdrawals. It's a normal part of Starknet staking — your funds aren't lost, they're just in a cooldown window.

Steps To Unstake WBTC

  1. Open Xverse and go to Earn > Select Withdraw
  2. Review Withdrawal transaction and Confirm
  3. Your WBTC now enters the 7-day lock-up (cooldown) period. After the cooldown ends, return to your position and select Claim to complete the process and move WBTC back to your wallet.

If you can't complete the claim or withdrawal inside Xverse — for example, you don’t see the Claim button after 7 days — you can manage the same position directly through Endur, the staking provider.

Since Endur has not yet supported Xverse on mobile platform, we recommend using the Chrome web browser when completing this process.
