You can fund your Spark wallet by receiving BTC directly from others or by allocating funds from your Bitcoin on L1 (mainnet). Currently, Xverse supports deposits directly in-app.
Steps to Deposit BTC into Spark
1. Select Spark Bitcoin & Specify the Amount to Bridge
- From the wallet dashboard, choose Spark Bitcoin.
- Select Bridge to begin bridging BTC from L1 to Spark.
Enter the amount of BTC you want to deposit into Spark > select Next to continue. Please note minimum amount for deposit is 10,000 sats.
2. Review and Confirm the Quote
- Carefully review the quote, including the exchange rate, fees, and estimated time.
Confirm the transaction to proceed.
Your BTC will be sent from your L1 Bitcoin address, and once the transaction is confirmed, the equivalent amount of Spark Bitcoin will be credited to your Spark wallet.
You can track the status of the deposit under the Spark Bitcoin Transactions section. Please note that funds may take some time to appear, as they will only show up after the L1 transaction is confirmed.
