How to Add BOB Network and Tokens to MetaMask for Xverse Earn

To interact with the BOB Layer 2 network and track your BTC staking rewards, you’ll need to add the BOB network and the Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) to your MetaMask wallet.

How to Add BOB Network to MetaMask

• Open MetaMask and click on your network dropdown > Select Add a custom network
• Enter the following BOB network details:
  • Network Name: BOB
  • RPC URL: https://rpc.gobob.xyz
  • Chain ID: 60808
  • Currency Symbol: ETH
  • Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.gobob.xyz
• Save to confirm. You’re now connected to the BOB network.

How to Add Tokens to Your Metamask Wallet

Once you’ve added the BOB chain, to track your staked BTC rewards, manually add the Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) to your wallet. This allows you to see and transfer those tokens within your wallet.

Step 1: Find the Contract Address (using BOB Explorer)

• Visit https://explorer.gobob.xyz > Enter your Metamask wallet address in the search bar
• Under Address details, scroll to Tokens > Locate the token you want to add (e.g., Hybrid Bitcoin).
• Copy the Contract address shown under that token.

Step 2: Add Token to MetaMask

• In MetaMask (BOB Network), select the vertical ellipsis (⋮) and then, Import tokens.
• Paste the copied token’s Contract address into the Token Contract Address field.
• MetaMask may automatically fill in the Token Symbol and Token Decimal fields. If not, enter them exactly as indicated on the block explorer.
• Click Next and Import to confirm adding the token and track your staking reward balance.
