Step-by-Step Guide to Perform a Cross-Chain Swap

Go to Xverse Swaps and connect your Xverse wallet. Alternatively, access the swap feature from the Explore page in your wallet.

Connect your EVM or Solana wallet to initiate the swap. Select the cryptocurrency you want to exchange, then click Get quotes to proceed.

Currently, swap quotes are provided via Changelly. Please note that we are working to add more providers, token pairs, and supported networks in the future.

Review the estimated exchange rate, transaction fee, and final amount of BTC to be received carefully > Approve the transaction in your originating wallet.
Slippage Tolerance
The slippage tolerance for cross-chain swaps is currently fixed at 10% and cannot be customized. This is determined by Changelly, our swap provider, to ensure a balance between competitive conversion rates and user protection from price volatility.

The swapped BTC will be sent to your Xverse wallet once the transaction is completed. You can monitor the status of your transaction anytime in the Swap History section.

1. How long will my swap take?
Typically, swaps are completed within 5 to 30 minutes after the initial transaction. Processing times may vary due to network congestion, block confirmation times, or the cryptocurrencies involved. You can check the Swap history for updates.
2. Will I need to complete KYC?
Some transactions may require KYC verification, depending on compliance policies. This is managed by Changelly, not Xverse. For more details, please see Changelly’s KYC/AML policies.
3. Can I swap from Bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies?
Currently, swaps are limited to exchanging cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin. We plan to add more token pairs and network support in the future.
