Why Do I See This Error?
This error typically occurs due to a bad request, which can be triggered by several factors including:
- Unstable network or use of a VPN.
- User wallet exceeding the UTXO limitation in mempool’s API.
Troubleshooting Steps
Check Network Status: Disable any active VPN and ensure your network connection is stable.
Check UTXO Limitation on Mempool API:
- Copy this URL:
https://mempool.space/api/address/.../utxo- Replace
...with your wallet address, then Enter. - Review the number of UTXOs you’re holding or if you’ve reached Mempool’s UTXO limitation of 500.
How to Resolve the Issue
To fix this problem and allow transactions to proceed normally, you can switch to a different BTC API that accommodates a higher UTXO limit. Follow the steps below:

Go to Settings (⚙️) > Select Network.

Edit the BTC URL to https://btc-1.xverse.app. You can copy this from the fallback URL if needed.

Save your changes.
If your wallet is reaching the UTXO limit, you may consider consolidating your UTXOs to ensure smooth transaction.
