Xverse Browser: Connecting to ME Directs to Phantom Download on Mobile

If you’re redirected to download the Phantom wallet when trying to connect to ME, it’s likely because you have linked your Bitcoin Phantom wallet, making it the active wallet on Magic Eden. To resolve this, you’d need to unlink your Phantom wallet and ensure Xverse wallet is the Active wallet in your ME account inside Xverse.

Step-by-step guide to unlink Phantom wallet:

  1. On mobile, open the in-app browser and go to ME Account Settings via https://magiceden.io/account/settings?tab=wallets. If the Phantom URL pops up, click the go back button “<”.

  2. In your account, you will see two wallets. Select “Unlink” for the Phantom wallet address (starting with bc1q). You will see a notification bar once the wallet is unlinked. Ensure the process is completed and Xverse wallet remains the only active Bitcoin wallet in your account.

Important Notes:

  • If the Unlink process results in an infinite spin, quit the app and try again.
  • If you’re also using Xverse on an extension, log out of ME and log back in to ensure changes on mobile sync with your extension.
