XPUB, short for Extended Public Key, is a cryptographic key derived from a user's cryptocurrency wallet that allows for the generation of public addresses. It's commonly used to monitor multiple addresses.
Currently, Xverse Wallet does not offer an option to export XPUB nor CSV files. However, we understand the importance of having easy access to your transaction history for tax reporting. In the future, Xverse is looking to implement a feature that will allow users to download CSV files of their transaction history directly from the wallet. This feature will simplify the process of reporting your cryptocurrency transactions for tax purposes.
Current Alternatives for Viewing Transactions
In the meantime, you can still access and review your transaction history through the following methods:
1. Bitcoin Transactions:
Visit Blockchain Explorer > Enter your BTC address from your Xverse wallet.
2. Stacks Transactions:
Visit Stacks Explorer > Enter your STX address from your Xverse wallet.
By using these blockchain explorers, you can manually compile your transaction history for tax reporting purposes until the CSV export feature becomes available in Xverse.
3. Address Input
Most popular tax reporting software will have the option to add a public address. This feature automatically downloads all transactions associated with that address. If you are unsure about how to proceed, please contact the platform you are using for reporting.
